The highlight of the day was when we found this beautiful Trumpeter Finch at a waterhole in the desert. For once I include a shot of the surrounding even if there are no birds present. I only had time for that after the birds flew away. :) About Trumpeter Finch on wiki

It is always exciting to see birds in desert locations and spotting these at the water-hole. I like that you included the area shot, it gives a good idea of how unexpected this was.
