Silltrut - larus fuscus - Lesser Black-backed Gull - Goéland brun
NF Photo 121115, South of Layounne, Western Sahara, Morocco
This it not the place where you think you should see a lot of gulls. At a petrol station / café in the middle of the dessert. But here they are. Photo shows different ages.

ReplyDeleteHerlig innlegg.
ReplyDeleteMåkene kommer der de finner mat!
Yes that is funny but if there was food around, you will find gulls. Margaret
ReplyDeleteI wonder if, back in time, there was some water here once. The markings on these gulls fascinates me. I have not seen them before.
ReplyDeleteThe gulls do seem to show up in the weirdest places. Great shots!
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteMåsar dyker upp på de mest konstiga ställen. Vackra fåglar.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI've seen gulls just about everywhere we go. The 'oddest' for me was at a landfill...not that THAT is odd, but they were congregated on the covered up part...where there was no food seen?!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful golden birds in golden sand.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing :)
