On our way north we stoped at the wetland north of Layounne. To see the stilts in the early morning light was amazing. But the garbage in there was not fun.

Styltlöpare - Himantopus himantopus - Black-winged Stilt

As the sun started to set we reached Layounne and made our last stop at what somebody called Flamingo Lake. It was so beautiful in the light of the setting sun and the stilts was gorgeous.
I fell in love with this bird when I first saw it in Camargue. It does not vsiit Sweden so this was a treat.
