Ökenstenskvätta - Oenanthe deserti - Desert Wheatear - Traquet du désert
NF Photo 121113, Lärkslätten, Morocco
A beautiful female sitting on the thorny bush a long while. Never minding a bunch of Swedes closing in. There was not much bugs or flies for her to capture. People said that´s why there are so few birds in the area. And even lesser no of raptors.

Lovely shots of the Wheatear which brought back memories of my trip to Morocco some years ago.

ReplyDeleteGreat sighting of this Wheatear. Nice photos!
ReplyDeleteHon poserar så vackert.
ReplyDeleteWithout an oasis nearby it would be difficult for many birds to survive. Lovely captures of these scarcities.
